Kathleen Ta, ACSW (she/hers)
Kathleen is a bi-cultural Vietnamese-American Associate Clinical Social Worker who has had the privilege to work with adolescents, adults, and families as a mental health therapist. Her professional experiences include providing psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management in outpatient settings (non-profit, County, and private practice clinics). Utilizing her background in healthcare, Kathleen integrates a holistic health care approach into her current therapeutic approach, which is a more personalized and comprehensive way to think about one’s wellness. Kathleen is committed to integrating evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical behavioral, Problem-solving, and mind-body connection techniques, as is appropriate to each individual’s healing journey. In addition to her clinical work, Kathleen is also an advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization in the Vietnamese community.
